I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California at Davis. My minor focus was in musicology and the history of music. This academic diversity allows me to teach students in both the arts and sciences. I began my teaching career as a personal music instructor. I am adept at teaching in the sciences, having completed coursework in biology, chemistry, anatomy, microbiology, and physiology. Practical application is used to help my students grasp complex material. I try to give them the ability to apply the material they've learned in an different contexts. As a future healthcare professional, the life sciences are a particular passion of mine. I particularly enjoy using that passion and knowledge in helping students who are striving towards a career in the healthcare professions to reach their career ambitions. My goal as a teacher is to make sure my students have thoroughly learned and grasped the discipline's foundation. As a tutor, it's my goal to meet the educational demands of my pupils to the best of my ability. My students find me an understanding teacher who is just as willing to help them with personal needs and situations as I am academic assistance.
