Hello, My name is Parash M. I finished my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from McNeese State University, LA. I developed a firm base of knowledge in mathematics long before I came to the US. With areas of mathematics such as trigonometry, co-ordinate geometry, calculus, statistics all included from a grade 5 curriculum it was an early start of exploration for me. I had a chance to further strengthen that base and add a whole lot more after I came to the US. I think the core of mathematics lies in problem solving. But it is not limited to only mathematical problems. Those skills developed in mathematics can be used in various fields of life. You see, math is as fundamental as breathing. It is everywhere and almost everything can be interpreted in a mathematical form. I see the whole picture of life as a quest of knowledge and math as the most fundamental tool to discover it.
Experience
I worked as a tutor for achieve learning institute in grand avenue, Oakland. I tutored SAT, calculus, AP calculus, geometry, trigonometry and pre calculus. I did one on one classes, some group classes and a two month SAT course for 30 students which was held in UC Berkeley campus.

Hobbies
I am a nature loving person. My hobbies include hiking, reading books and poems, playing sports, singing and playing music. As above so below and as outside so inside. I feel like everything is connected to everything else so what we do or say outside has a direct impact inside as well. Our biggest teacher is life itself and as long as we have an open mind and heart, the universe will pour its knowledge and wisdom into us freely.
