I am currently a student at the University of California, Davis studying Managerial Economics and took a few of the highest level Chinese classes at my school. I grew up speaking Mandarin and Cantonese in the household. I attended 10+ years of Chinese school in the states, but what really made me fluent in all aspects of the language (reading, writing, and speaking) was through my methods of self-studying.

My tutoring services include: - Chinese lessons for absolute beginners - Chinese lessons for those who know a bit, but want to improve - preparing for the AP Chinese Language and Culture Exam (I received a 5 on the test) Everyone I work with will receive a customized study plan and a list of recommended resources. I love teaching Chinese! I'm a huge advocate for getting more people to speak the language. I specialize in teaching mostly beginners because I really want to help people of all ages get started and develop an interest in the language. I also love teaching beginners because I believe that beginners need the most guidance in their language learning journey. If their foundation isn't strong, they may have a difficult time learning the language down the road. I want to be there to help them!
